Licence Agreement

This covers copies bought directly from us — this site and our Gumroad store. A copy bought through the Epic Games Fab marketplace is governed by Fab’s own licence instead. The same text ships inside the plugin as Docs/LICENCE.md.

The short version. The full terms are below, and those are the ones that count.

Sentari is a tool you run inside the Unreal Editor. Use it to build your own projects, and sell what you build — games, films, anything you make with it is yours, with no royalty and nothing owed to us.

The source is included. Read it, change it, compile it into your projects.

What you may not do is pass Sentari itself on: no reselling or giving it away, no publishing its source, no shipping a modified version as your own product, and no sharing your licence key. Your tier decides how many people may use it.

Sentari Digital licenses Sentari AI Assistant (“Sentari”) to you on the terms below. Buying it means you accept them.

1 · What you are buying

A perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Sentari. You are not buying ownership of Sentari; we keep all intellectual-property rights in it. Perpetual means the version you bought keeps working: there is no subscription, no renewal, and no server that can switch it off.

2 · Tiers

The tier you bought is the one you chose at checkout. Choose by whichever threshold you cross first — headcount or revenue.

  • Personal — one developer, or a team whose annual revenue and funding are both under US$100,000. One seat.
  • Studio — teams of up to 11 people with annual revenue under US$2,000,000. Up to 11 seats.
  • Enterprise — organisations of 12 or more people, or with annual revenue of US$2,000,000 or more. Unlimited seats within one legal entity.

A seat is one person who uses Sentari, not one machine: the same person may install it on their workstation and their laptop.

The three tiers are the same software, with the same features and the same key format. Nothing is withheld from the lower tiers. If your team grows past your tier, buy the difference: write to support@sentaridigital.com and we will invoice the gap rather than a second full licence.

3 · What you may do

  • Use Sentari to build any project, commercial or not, with no royalty and no revenue share.
  • Ship, sell and distribute the games, films and other work you make with it. What Sentari authors inside your project — Blueprints, materials, C++, PCG graphs, VFX — is yours, and nothing in it is encumbered by this licence.
  • Read and modify the included source for your own use inside your organisation, and build it as part of your projects.
  • Install it on as many machines as the seats in your tier reasonably require.

4 · What you may not do

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lend or redistribute Sentari, in whole or in part, in source or compiled form — including as part of a template, asset pack, plugin bundle or project you sell or give away.
  • Publish the source code, or any modified version of it, anywhere public.
  • Share, publish or resell your licence key, or use one key across more seats than your tier allows.
  • Remove or disable the licence check in order to run Sentari on unpaid seats. You may build and debug the source freely; this clause is about circumventing payment, not about touching the code.
  • Use Sentari to build a competing Unreal Engine assistant, agent bridge or MCP plugin offered to third parties.

5 · Your licence key

The key is issued to the e-mail address on your order. It is verified on your own machine against a public key inside the plugin: there is no account, no licence server to check in with, and Sentari never reports your use back to us.

One exception, and only if you choose it: your store receipt shows a short receipt code as well as the licence key we e-mail you. If you paste that receipt code into the panel instead, Sentari asks our server once — at that moment only — to exchange it for your licence key. Nothing else is sent, and after that activation Sentari never contacts us again. Paste the e-mailed key instead and even that one call does not happen.

Because verification is offline, a key that has been shared cannot be recalled. Treat it like a password. If you lose it, recover it with the licence key from your Gumroad receipt on the key recovery page, or write to support@sentaridigital.com.

6 · Updates

Updates to Sentari are included at no extra cost for as long as we publish them, through the store you bought from. We do not promise a particular release schedule, and we may stop publishing updates; the version you hold keeps working either way.

7 · Your models, keys and data

Sentari is bring-your-own-model. It talks to the local runtimes and API providers you configure, using your accounts and your credentials, and nothing is routed through our servers. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms, and their charges are between you and them. We are not responsible for what a third-party model returns, or for what it costs.

Sentari writes only to the folders described in the data and privacy document that ships with the plugin.

8 · Refunds

If Sentari is not right for you, write to support@sentaridigital.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it. Please describe the problem first — most difficulties are setup and take minutes to fix.

Because a key cannot be recalled once activated, we may decline a refund where the licence has plainly been used in production over an extended period. We have never yet refused one.

9 · No warranty

Sentari is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Sentari drives the Unreal Editor and writes into your project. It reads its own writes back and keeps its changes undoable, but it is an assistant working from a language model’s output, and it can be wrong. Keep your project under version control and keep backups. You remain responsible for reviewing what lands in your project.

10 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to Sentari is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost work, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights where those apply.

11 · Termination

This licence ends if you breach it in a way you do not correct within 30 days of us telling you about it. On termination you must stop using Sentari and remove it from your systems. Work you have already shipped stays licensed.

12 · Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction — except where the law of your own country of residence grants you rights that cannot be set aside by contract, which continue to apply.
